Firing Times Bar PlotShown below are two Bar Plots. The heavy, black line is the force trace of the subject; the scale is shown on the right Y axis. The colored vertical bars occur at the time when each Motor Unit fired. The first Bar Plot shows an entire (almost) 50% Maximal Voluntary Contraction (MVC) force trace contraction. The second Bar Plot shows a one second portion of the same trace. This expanded view clearly shows the different firing rates of each Motor Unit.
