Post Doc Research Associate

A Post Doc position is available immediately to work with Dr. Carlo De Luca at the NeuroMuscular Research Center at Boston University. We are seeking an individual to work on leading-edge problems in the field of motor unit control. Candidates having training and interest in one of the two following areas will be considered: 1) signal processing and mathematical modeling with a demonstrated interest in Neurophysiology, 2) Neurophysiology, especially at the muscle control level, with a demonstrated interest in quantitative methodologies.

The successful candidate will participate in the NIH funded Biomedical Research Partnership program comprised of individuals with varied backgrounds working on motor unit related problems ranging from modeling to clinical applications. Funding will be competitive for the Boston area. There is a potential for continued employment beyond the Post Doc for the appropriate successful candidate.

Ph.D. in Neurophysiology, Biomedical Engineering, or related field required.
