Description

The major goal of this project is to develop an automatic system for decomposing the electromyographic (EMG) signal into the constituent action potentials corresponding to the firing of individual motor units activated by motoneurons.  The system will be an outgrowth of our existing rudimentary system, which over the past 20 years has enabled us to perform various novel investigations that have provided a variety of new insights into motor control.
